Welcome to TCG Grading, Where We:
TCG Grading uses a human-first grading philosophy supported by forensic technology. Items undergo structured inspection using forensic level technologies ensuring disciplined, consistent, thorough and defensible grades.
We grade across more franchises than any other Australian grading service. From Pokémon, One Piece, and Yu-Gi-Oh to sports cards and sealed products, our team brings deep, hands-on experience across a wide range of trading card games and collectible formats.
TCG Grading operates at a scale that delivers consistency, repeatability, and reliability. Our processes are built to handle volume without compromising care, making professional card grading more accessible while maintaining high standards of service.

CUSTOM. ART.
Every TCG Grading custom art label is hand-illustrated by our in-house artist, Kai Christian.
Each label is created individually, drawing inspiration directly from the card’s artwork, colour palette, and character.
If you value craftsmanship, illustration, and presentation as much as protection, our custom art label service offers something genuinely different.
This is not decoration. It’s authorship. A custom art label doesn’t just identify your card. It completes it.
FAQ:
Can I submit items for grading if I don't live in Australia?

International customers are responsible for shipping, customs declarations, and any applicable duties or taxes. If you’re unsure whether your country is supported, please contact us before submitting.

-
Do you grade autographed items? Yes. We grade autographed items. On-items signatures without verifiable provenance may be declined or given an ‘A’ Grade (authenticated only) unless accompanied by a recognised certificate of authenticity (for example JSA). All autograph authentication decisions are made on a case-by-case basis.
What is the maximum number of items I can submit for grading?
There are no maximums to the number of items you can submit. Certain events and promotions may also have their own terms and conditions on the number of items you can submit– check with the event or promotion at the time.
Can I submit collectibles in person?
Yes. In-person submissions are accepted at our location within TAG Collectibles in Castle Hill, Sydney. Please complete your submission online before arriving. In-store submissions are accepted Wednesday to Saturday from 10am.
-
We are working towards having more submission centres open throughout 2026. If you are a vendor and would like to express interest in becoming an authorised TCG Grading vendor site please get in touch.
Are your grades comparable to PSA, Beckett or other grading companies?
Our grading scale follows widely recognised industry conventions, which makes grades easy to understand and broadly comparable across the hobby. That said, grading standards are not identical between companies, and direct grade equivalence should not be assumed.
-
A useful way to think about grading across companies is like comparing currencies.
-
A PSA 10, a Beckett 9.5, and a TCG Grading 10 all represent the top tier within their respective systems but they are not the same currency. Comparing them one-to-one is similar to comparing the Australian dollar to the US dollar: both are valid, both are widely accepted, but their values are not fixed as identical.
-
Any advice provided regarding grade comparability or market behaviour is always point-in-time only. Market sentiment, collector preferences, and demand can and do change over time.
-
Generally speaking, Australian grading outcomes and market behaviour tend to sit within approximately 75% to 100% of comparable US-based market leader results, depending on the card, franchise, grade, and current demand. This range is not guaranteed and should be treated as a broad market observation rather than a promise of value.
-
As with all graded collectibles, grades represent a professional opinion at the time of assessment and not a guarantee of future value.

At TCG Grading Everything Starts With People
We believe great grading is the result of human judgement, care, and experience supported by modern technology, not replaced by it. That philosophy extends beyond our grading process and into how we engage with the communities around us.
While trading card games sit at the heart of what we do, our view of community is broader.
We actively support and engage with TCG events, local sporting clubs, hobby groups, and grassroots community initiatives, because strong communities are built through shared interests, connection, and participation.
Whether it’s sponsoring an event, supporting a local club, or contributing to a community-led initiative, we value meaningful involvement over visibility. If you’re building something that brings people together and you’re looking for genuine support, we’re always open to the conversation.
