Video Game Grading Summary
Our grading and encapsulation service for compatible Video Games in our TCG Grading Encasing.
How We Grade:
At TCG Grading, our video game grading service is designed for collectors who value authenticity, condition accuracy and presentation integrity. Whether sealed retro games, modern factory-sealed titles or complete-in-box (CIB) collectibles, our grading system focuses on how a game truly displays and preserves over time.
Sealed Video Game Subgrades:
We assess: Creases and dents Crushing or warping Edge wear Print clarity and colour fade Plastic case cracks (where applicable)
We carefully assess original factory seal quality, including: Tightness and uniformity of shrink wrap Seam integrity, Y-fold or manufacturer fold patterns, Air holes, Evidence of re-sealing
Sharp corners are critical in boxed games. We assess: All corner integrity Edge compression Split seams
This includes: Plastic case scuffing Artwork clarity Manual alignment (if visible) Internal shifting UV fade Odour
For sealed games, packaging and seal integrity are critical. These weightings reflect long-term collector value and visual appeal.
