That's where Cardboard Guardian comes in. Cardboard Guardian make protective cases for graded card slabs, and their Guardian Vanta Case is already precision-fit for the TCG Grading slab. Working together was a natural next step.
The result is a limited edition Guardian case, designed in collaboration with our team and made exclusively for TCG Grading collectors. It's the same trusted protection Cardboard Guardian is known for, finished in a design you won't find anywhere else.

The Limited Edition Design

Presentation has always mattered to us. From our holographic foil labels to our hand-illustrated custom art, every design decision is made with visual impact in mind. This case is no different.
The STAG Guardian case features a translucent gradient black, designed to complement the holographic face of the TCG Grading label rather than compete with it. Whereas the OBLIQUE Guardian case offers a clean, transparent option designed to take nothing away from the card or custom art.
They frame the slab cleanly, keep the label and card in full view, and turn a graded card into a display-ready centrepiece.

Built From Industrial-Grade TPU
Every Guardian case is made from flexible, durable, industrial-grade TPU. It's the same material trusted in high-quality protective cases, chosen because it absorbs impact while staying flexible enough to fit snugly and come off cleanly.
TPU gives you:
- Shock absorption: the material flexes on impact instead of passing force through to the slab
- Durability: resists tearing, cracking and wear from repeated handling
- Flexibility: stretches enough to snap on and off without stressing the slab
- Grip: a secure feel in hand, so slabs are less likely to slip

Fit & Protection
A Precision Fit, Not a Loose One
A case is only as good as its fit. Too loose and the slab shifts. Too tight and it's a fight to get on and off. The Guardian case uses a refined snap-fit design that locks securely around the slab and installs and removes smoothly by hand.
Raised Edges Where It Counts
Corners and edges take the hit in most drops. A raised-edge profile sits proud of the slab face, so if it's set down or dropped, the case makes contact first, not your slab.

Designed Around Our Slab
The Guardian Vanta Case is precision-fit for standard TCG Grading card slabs. It sits flush around the perimeter, follows the slab's profile and holds firmly without rattling or shifting.
That matters because our slab is built to a high standard:
- Crystal-clear PMMA-based resin, selected for optical clarity and long-term stability
- Sonic welded around the perimeter, with no adhesives and no weak points
- Precision internal tolerances that keep the card aligned with minimal movement
A case shouldn't undo any of that. The Guardian case frames the slab without covering the label or card, so the holographic label, QR code and grade stay fully visible. Your slab can still be verified through our online Database without removing the case.
Also Fits Standard PSA Slabs
The Guardian case is also precision-fit for standard PSA slabs, so collections that mix TCG Grading and PSA graded cards can share one consistent look on the shelf.
