How We Grade:

At TCG Grading, we score based on a 1-10 grading system by analysing 100 points of contact on your item across multiple subgrade categories. For Funko Pop's we don’t believe in harsh technical penalties that ignore how a collectible actually displays. We grade Funko Pops the way real collectors see them: front-on, in hand and in the real world.

Funko Pop Subgrades:

Box - 50%

The box is the most important grading category. It determines display appeal, structural integrity and long-term value. We assess: Box panel condition. Creases and dents Surface gloss and colour integrity Water exposure or staining Warping or structural distortion 

Corners & Edges - 15%

Sharp corners are critical for boxed collectibles. Soft corners and whitening are immediately noticeable in display. We assess: All eight box corners Edge sharpness and whitening Corner compression or splits 

Window - 20%

The window is the visual face of a Funko Pop. It must be clear, intact and free from major distraction. We assess: Scratches and scuffing Push-ins or dents Cracks Glue separation Clarity and haze 

Presentation - 15%

Presentation considers everything visible through the window and the overall freshness of the item. We assess: Sticker placement and condition. Visible paint quality of the figure Yellowing or UV fade Odour (smoke or mould exposure) Internal dust or debris 

Unlike some international grading companies, TCG Grading prioritises eye appeal and fairness rather than punishing technical flaws that do notimpactreal-world presentation.
